Favorite Knitting Ideas

I was going through a VERY old hard drive on my computer and ran across this batch of ideas for things to knit. This was so long ago that I have completely lost the source of the images to give them credit. I am going to share them here but, please, if you find they are yours, do let me know so I can attribute them correctly and so that many others can find their way to the actual pattern or source for some of these wonderful knitting ideas!

I planted some mums in this cute planter and Don put them up near the front door for me – so cute! His honey-do list is shrinking.

I found the sign above on our trip to Omaha over Labor Day weekend and had to bring it home. Love it and it hangs in our living room now.

Flower Collar Tutorial from Katie Did

I don’t have girls but these two almost make me want to have another baby!!! What a cute idea. I think I’d like this idea reinterpreted with felted wool or even fleece so the edges don’t fray (though I much prefer the natural fabric and recycling of wool sweaters). Very cute idea from Katie Did!

Valentine Ribbon Flowers by BurdaStyle

Origami Cherry Blossoms by DIY Maven

I emailed these instructions to Cole, my origami expert, hoping to receive something like this for Valentine’s Day. What mother wouldn’t love to display these? Are you reading, Cole???
