Since this website is named SparkBark, I thought I’d make my first doggy-type recommendation. Actually it’s my neighbor’s recommendation: The Furminator. The size medium one sells for around $30 at Cabela’s or probably any pet type of shop – and even on ebay! Mike & Julie (the neighbors) let me borrow theirs, most likely out of pity for my hairy dog who was so hairy that when she was sleeping on the stairs I sent my kids to go pick chunks of her hair off her body so there would be less for me to vacuum. I tell you – one shot with this comb and it really, really helped! I am now going to have to buy one… If you own one of these, tell me what you think about it and if you don’t, it’s worth a try! We tried it and liked it!
